Located on a remote 20 acre property, this off-the-grid cabin makes the most of a small footprint surrounded by natural landscape. Design was built around keeping an efficient floor plan to minimize the amount of materials needed to be snowmobiled onto the site. This is accessible by a combination of hiking and canoeing, and operates with solar driven electric, and no running water. The owner utilizes this as a seasonal retreat from it all.

The floor plan is organized in two zones, the open living area connects to the front entry and rear screened porch. The other zone consists of a camp kitchen, storage, and bedroom. A sleeping loft for their two girls is located over this zone, with a small window looking towards the river.
