ERE Architecture is a firm of thoughtful architects with a strong base of work that was founded in 2017. Based in Minnesota, designs are rooted in Scandinavian principles of simplicity and honesty. Our work builds upon modern architectural principles, finding the right balance between all of the design criteria, budgets, and world constraints. Our team has a strong design background, with work created across the globe. Our network of consultants and collaborators bridges both the local and global building community. With each project, we strive to exceed client expectations, helping them to explore what might be beyond what they think is possible. We want the architecture we create to facilitate life around it, creating a built environment that lifts us all up.

Principal Architect
Starting with a strong desire to understand how things work and a slight obsession with LEGOs, Edward has long been creating and building spaces. Drafting began around the breakfast table on Sundays, when he and his grandfather, Robert - a cabinet maker and carpenter, would develop his plans to reality.
Edward was Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Minnesota and a Masters in Architecture from Illinois Institute of Technology. His education provided a foundation of design in Modern Architecture, with a strong sense of detail and craft. During Edward’s time in Chicago, he worked at JAHN, on teams designing commercial high-rise projects throughout the globe. This provided an expertise in coordinating complicated projects. He has brought this expertise forward into his work with small-scale projects, emphasizing quality, team collaborations, and attention to detail.
When he’s not taking care of business at ERE Architecture, Edward shares a joyful life with his partner Emily, their daughter, and dogs. They enjoy being curious about their home city of Minneapolis, and exploring the world through travel.
