Edward R. Eichten, AIA NCARB LEED AP BD+C
Starting with a strong desire to understand how things work and a slight obsession with LEGOs, Edward has long been creating and building spaces. Drafting began around the breakfast table on Sundays, when he and his grandfather, Robert - a cabinet maker and carpenter, would develop his plans to reality.
Edward was Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Minnesota and a Masters in Architecture from Illinois Institute of Technology. His education provided a foundation of design in Modern Architecture, with a strong sense of detail and craft. During Edward’s time in Chicago, he worked at JAHN, on teams designing commercial high-rise projects throughout the globe. This provided an expertise in coordinating complicated projects. He has brought this expertise forward into his work with small-scale projects, emphasizing quality, team collaborations, and attention to detail.
When he’s not taking care of business at ERE, Edward shares a joyful life with his partner Emily, their daughter Ruby, and dog Seymour. They enjoy being curious about their home city of Minneapolis, and exploring the world through travel.
